Community,
For those of you who do not know, since the 2.0 Patch released back in 2018, the website was developed to help promote a strong news and database for the Left 4 Dead 2 Beta/E3 community. Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I could not maintain updates and maintenance as frequent as I initially planned. Luckily, that has changed in the past week, and an updated website is officially in place.
Pages and Directory
Web pages were either modernized or completely remade from scratch. Here is the new directory:
- Patchnotes and News (reworked)
- Media (reworked)
- Modders Credits (new)
- Modders Terms and Conditions (new)
- Beta Pack Team (new)
- Betapedia (reworked)
- Steam Workshop Link (new)
- GameMaps Link (new)
- GameMaps Online Edition Link (new)
- Contact (redesigned)
- Home (redesigned)
Website Design and Layout
As stated, the design of almost everything has changed. New images, themes, color pallets, and layouts are used on every single page. All visitors of the site can also use the new updated directory to access material and other footage they may have not seen as well.
The Betapedia
This is still a work in progress page, but is more professional than before. More content added, however, still unfinished. Continue to stay tuned for the details. This page will be our hub area for all Left 4 Dead 2 E3/Beta development.
Conclusion
Now that the Left 4 Dead 2 Beta Pack has a team, managing the website has become that much efficient. Feel free to explore and spread the word!
Very respectfully,
Gigan, Beta Pack Team Manager
